Quality Analyst II
Jordan Nolen joined the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) operations team as the quality analyst II in June 2025. He is responsible for establishing and refining processes to strengthen HIWU’s quality assurance practices. This includes identifying and resolving issues, planning and execution of test plans, and recognizing opportunities for automation and automating where possible.
Prior to this role, Nolen was the quality testing manager at BlueScope Buildings North America, where he led user acceptance testing to execute test plans across multiple development teams, ensuring the systems perform as expected prior to software release. He also documented opportunities for automation. His earlier roles in quality assurance and test engineering at TreviPay, Shutterfly, and Decision Resources Group allowed him to build out quality assurance practices and develop best practices for automation standards including automating critical workflows.
Nolen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
